Johnny Krutsch breaks AW Passing Leader record!

Congratulations, Johnny Krutsch on becoming the current all-time passing leader at Arvada West. He currently has 8,312 yards. The previous record was held by Steve Cutlip with 8,023 yards from 1994-1997. Johnny is now 6th all time in Colorado history.

SB: Cats win Regional Championship! Heading to State!

The Wildcats softball team travelled to Columbine HS today for the Region 7 CHSAA playoff bracket, and came away with two huge wins to earn a REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP title and their spot in the 16-team 5A State Tournament next weekend! Cross Country – Congratulations!

Congratulations to the Cross Country Team! At yesterday’s League Meet, the girls placed 2nd and the boys placed 3rd. The girls were led by freshman Ashlyn Craig in a time of 20:04, and the boys were led by sophomore Gabe Schultz in a time of 16:59. Both of these runners earned First Team All-Conference honors.

McEahern IBM Hero Award Recipient

The athletics department was notified that our own Chris McEahern was selected as one of the six recipients of the IBM High School Heroes awards.  The award recognizes student athletes who excell in the classroom, sport, and community.  Congratulations, Chris!
