Tuesday afternoon was a great day for Wildcat Softball, as all 3 levels found success and earned victories! The Varsity beat Grandview HS 17-6, JV also beat Grandview 13-5, and 3rd Level beat Lakewood 10-8!

In the Varsity match up at Grandview HS, the Cats and Wolves battled back and forth for 3 innings and then the Wildcat’s hitting would come alive and break the game open. Kailey Robb blasted 2 homeruns for the Cats, and finished the day 3-for-4 day with 4 RBI and 4 runs scored! Despite Grandview changing their defense around each time, Mo Winters was an impressive 4-for-5 with 3 singles, including an exciting RBI bunt single and a triple! Shea Mauser was 4-for-4, with a double and 3 singles, as well as 4 RBI and 2 runs scored herself! A big shout out to Emma Novotny, for blasting the first homerun of her AW career! It was a 3-run shot in the top of the 7th and went off the scoreboard! Morgan Clausen earned the win in the circle for the Cats, battling thru some tough innings and getting some big groundball outs when we needed it! A-West finishes their “non-conference” portion of the season with an impressive 9-3 record as they begin Jeffco League play next week!
